Should the Coalition Pull Out?

US killed Premier Foreign Intelligence Agents?
by Cherrie Lynn Lipsett

A very good article to tell you what is really going on and how bad the situation is getting.  There is credible information from premier foreign intelligence agents that the US killed the Shiite cleric in the mosque.  The US is denying it and has asked for the evidence be sent to them which was done last week on Saturday -I believe.  The US has yet to respond to the evidence.  Things are really heating up and you are not hearing the worst of it. It is time the people know why the next terrorist attack on the US happens.  And I have already reported to a US information agency that that could be within the next four months if things aren't ratcheted down.

I only have one little question to ask you regarding this b.s. about the US killing this cleric.  What would the US gain upsetting the Shiite's out of this brilliant scheme?  Oh we'll make it look like the Bathists did it!?   That's original.

We all forget that right now we have three groups at play when we say "the US did it". Do we mean the Bush Administration did it? Or some troops? Or some other group within the US who wants to make trouble for the Bush Administration?

In any case, looking at the result of it -- 400,000 Iraqis marching on the Street in Protest-- must say it gave a face to the solidified anti-US sentiment in Iraq.

Hence, it certainly is a problem for US troops and for the Bush Administration who is trying to come up with a stooge govt. that will both be able to do their bidding and find public support.

If it were some angry troops killing random people I'd say the troops had a hand. Clearly in this case they didn't.

The last group could be anyone. It could be Iraqis loyal to Saddam, or simply tired of the Coalition Occupation and wants to see it go. It could be someone who thought the slain Shiite Cleric would be more trouble for Iraq -- someone who is opposed to any kind of religious rule in Iraq. It could be foreign Arabs belonging to some group who want the US out of the region. It could be some forces in the US who are tired of the Bush Administrations plans for Iraq. It could be almost anybody.

As such it could be the US in many ways other than the Bush Administration.

In any case, it seems that the Bush Administration will have another Vietnam in its hand. There were reports that the US has already used napalm, which the Pentagon denies: http://www.theage.com.au/articles/2003/03/23/1048354475977.html

It's high time the Bush Administration change its plan in Iraq and fast.

re: Sophia's post

I agree the US has to change its plan and fast if it wants to remain a feared or is it (respected) super power in the world.

When I say the US, I meant the CIA (they are the ones that do the foreign political killing or certain select members of the CIA) for Administrations.  And in order to do something like this, if it was the US government, had to come from Bush himself. Nothing like this could be approved without coming from Bush himself.  No, I did not mean some troops.

I am certain no troops would have done this except maybe special forces and I don't think this would have been left up to special forces without CIA involvement.  Special forces could have played a part if the US government did indeed to it.  that is what I hear -- they did it and I hear it from someone who does have excellent intelligence.

The other alternative is some foreign government who has an interest in the US not succeeding did it.  And that is also a very plausible alternative.  There are many nations that don't want the US to succeed.  this is to be the new home for Al Quaeda, now some say, the army of choice of other legitimate nations to attack the US with.  That way to keep the US in line without starting a world war that might escalate to nuclear status. A very rich country with an Islamic religious leader (president) such as Iraq.  Such a country could with the resources of other poorer nations plus its oil royalties could really do harm within our country to the poor civilians as happened on 9/11/01.

THAT IS WHY WE NOW CAN NOT LEAVE!!! WE HAVE TO STAY THE COURSE.  WE TOPPLED THE GOVERNMENT THERE AND NOW OTHER NATIONS WANT TO USE IRAQ AND AL QUAEDA AS ITS FORCE OF CHOICE TO ATTACK THE U.S.

If this Administration thinks it can put Iraqis' in charge and they maintain the government within one or two years -- well they are really smoking dream vegetation.  If we leave without a real democracy now it will fall into these other countries hands.  It will take at the least, the least, five years to keep this from happening.  And to think they can go ahead and give the government running back to the Iraqis with most wanting us out-well they are crazy.  THE UN BOMBING WAS AN INSIDE JOB WITH IRAQI INFORMATION FROM PEOPLE WORKING FOR THE UN.

What does this Administration think will happen to any Americans left once Iraqis' are completely in charge of the police and the army and just a few Americans to stay the course?  This Administration because it had No realistic peace plan have let the opposition take hold of the country and now they have the momentum.  This could have been averted- all this -if they had handled the peace correctly ffrom the start. And there were many who tried to talk to them. The Clinton Administration looked into going in and doing this and Billy being Billy had all this information that exactly what has happened could very well happen.  And they had a plan to keep or try to keep it from happening.

THIS ADMINISTRATION WILL LISTEN TO NO ONE. WILL CONSIDER NO ONE ELSE'S OPINION.  THEY ARE DANGEROUS TO THE SECURITY OF OUR COUNTRY AND EVERY CITIZEN!!!  OUR COUNTRY IS IN FAR WORST OF A THREAT FROM IRAQ OR WILL SOON BE THEN WITH SADDAM HUSSEIN THERE AND INSPECTIONS IF THIS ADMINISTRATION CARRIES OUT THEIR PRESENT PLANS!!!!

Re: Cherrie's post

If the US pulls out of Iraq, you're right, there is possibility of payback.

I can see how families of Iraqis killed by the US War on Iraq would want to hurt Coalition Forces in Iraq and even do some damage in the US. If they never liked the al-Quaeda this is a time we'll see a change of heart. And I'm talking about families and loved ones of 10,000 victims, if you combine Iraq and Afghanistan, though I could be wrong on statistics.

The US Military, after the lesson in Vietnam, no longer reports a body-count of enemies and civilians.

If the US doesn't pulls out of Iraq however, we are going to have another Palestine and Vietnam, and you'll have thousands of dead Coalition soldiers and millions of Arab's ready to off with American heads.

Which is worse?
