The 9-11 Report, Deception and the US-Saudi Connection

by Candida Eittreim

It is time for Americans to be educated as to just how much we, as a people have been lied to, about the reality behind the events of September 11th. Our intelligence communities have been held up to the most rigorous scrutiny, careers have been ruined, and the damage continues. Just what was the reason for the tragedy of the Twin Towers? Look no further than hypocrites, the very ones screaming loudest about our intelligence failures. The ones who's pockets are lined with money, from our real enemy: Saudi Arabia. The roster of names sucking at the Saudi Arabian teat reads like a Who's Who in American politics. Former Presidents and statesmen:

Richard Milhouse Nixon
Brent Skowcroft
Ronald Reagan
William Clinton
George Herbert Walker Bush
Dick Cheney
Richard Shelby and others

Not to mention the major petroleum players here in the US: In particular Aramco and Unocal. For over 30 years, Saudi has financed our Presidential Libraries, hospitals and of course, the numerous retired politicions like Henry Kissinger, to the tune of millions. In return, we were of course expected to turn a blind eye and deaf ear to the terrorist funding of training camps within the Kingdom, and ignore their sexual excesses.

Ask yourself why we get deeply discounted oil from the Saudis, while Asia pays a premium of 3% over the per barrel price? Ask yourself why we tolerate the most repressive, inhumane treatment of a people in the Middle East. The answer is we are whores to the House of Al Saud.. When they say jump, we ask how high? Why is it case officers on Middle East watch, when they tried to report the impending sense of trouble, were told to keep silent, or transferred back home, to as Bob Baer puts it in his book "Sleeping With The Devil", pass out towels in the gym.

The 9-11 Commission was a sham. This is not to say reforms weren't needed at both CIA and FBI, but only to rid the system of these selfsame political liars, that obstructed these people in their pursuit of justice and made a mockery of the fine men and women, who everyday quietly go about saving us from ourselves. Washington doesn't want an informed public, and certainly not about something this vital to our national security. But informed we must be, and it starts here.

Start by reading many of the fine books written by people who know the truth, including Robert Baer and Daniel Pipes. Do some research, and then speak out and demand an accounting from those truly responsible-our own elected officials.

The 911 Attack

So far, I’ve sketched the outlines of what really happened to bring about the worst attack to date on American soil. Who was ultimately responsible for this act of unparalleled savagery, during which 3,000 lives were lost forever. To get to the answers, we have to begin to understand how deeply entrenched Washington is in Saudi, and vice versa.

The beginnings of the relationship with the House of Al Saud date back to the days of FDR, and even before. Great Britain had been lending $40 million dollars to Saudi during the '40's. Our politicians, including Admiral James Forrestal who urged in a secret memo, dated December 11, 1944, that we must not let oil reserves slip out of our hands and into the control of other foreign nationals. King Ibn Saud on his end, had no intentions of ceding control to Great Britain, after seizing control of the region by 1927. Wallace Murray, head of the Near Eastern and African Affairs, in a written analysis to Assistant Secretary of State Dean Acheson, warned of the consequences of a economic breakdown in Saudi Arabia, including takeover by Great Britain or Russia.

We had depended heavily on building our own reserves and those of Mexico, prior to discovering that this mudwalled desert area possessed the largest reserves to date. We weren't about to let that slip from our grasp. So when this first in a long line of House of Al Saud rulers, had moments when the royal purse was rather threadbare, Standard Oil stepped up and made a 60 year agreement, mostly favorable to SOCAL of course, to explore, prospect and drill for oil in Saudi territory-exclusively. King Ibn Saud, in exchange received 30 million pounds in gold or its equivalent, plus a yearly rent of an additional 5,000, and a royalty in advance of 50,000 in gold, plus a matching amount when oil was found. This was formally signed and sealed May 29, 1933.

The 60 year old monarch met FDR February 14, 1945. aboard the USS Quincy. During this meeting many agreements were met and signed upon. Included were access to Saudi ports and permission for Aramco (Arab/American Oil Co) to begin construction of the Trans Arabian pipeline to the Mediterranean Sea. FDR agreed to not occupy any Saudi owned territory and to consult with the King over any key issues concerning Palestine. It was here that the true beginnings of our current troubles began.

I listed some of the prominent political names deeply involved in Saudi financial dealings and subsidizing of favored groups or projects. One of the biggest entities lying entwined between the sheets with The Kingdom is the Carlyle Group. Take a look at this tasty bit of information. (See Link). If you feel as I do, that something very nasty indeed is going on here, this and other links I'll supply should cement those feelings into a call for some real accountability.

How many of us are aware that there was an unusually heavy amount of trading on United Airlines stock 3 days prior to 9-11? (See link). And as of this date, the principals have either not been located or named? The bottom line is we have at least enough valid questions and concerns both about our involvement with Saudi Arabia- pre and post 9-11, and certainly reason enough to hold hearings as to the ethics and propriety of our government officials continuing to receive monies from a nation known to be a hotbed of terrorism and extremist views. Particularly when those on the receiving end of millions of dollars in jobs and funding hold or once held high public office.

We also have the right to demand an answer as to why our intelligence agencies were singled out for such scrutiny, costing millions of dollars, yet no one insisted on examining this aspect more closely. I am one very angry American. And I want accountability for these actions, and so should every thinking person living in the US.
