A Sleeping CIA?

Where is Osama?                 by Sophia Barkat

Does anyone know what's being done to find Osama bin Laden?

Apart from putting his face on the FBI's and CIA's Most Wanted List http://www.FBI.gov can we find out what's latest on the search for the mastermind of the 911 Tragedy?

re:  Sophia's post

They seem to keep having trouble finding leaders for such a great military and CIA.  I know for a fact the CIA is one of the world's worst intelligence agencies.  If you want to know what I think. Well I think Osama "Bin Laden is in Eastern Europe with beard gone and western clothing on in a dominant Islamic community.  As far as Saddam Hussein well I'm not even sure he is still alive.  I heard in 2000 or maybe 2001,( the years escape me any more.  I would have to go back and read journals to know exactly which year it was) on Jan 1 that Saddam Hussein was at a function and fell-passed out. There was a lot of what the CIA calls chatter on the telephones between Arab nation leaders.  Now I didn't hear about the chatter or this from the CIA.

I won't say who my intelligence source is but it is much better than the CIA. It has been since said but never could be confirmed that Saddam Hussein had a stroke and it is thought by some that some of his close associates killed him and have just been using his doubles since then. But this could never be proved. I think there are some leaders of countries that know for sure but my intelligence source if they know for sure haven't told me. But they know I tell everything so might have not wanted me in the know on this. It was proven that he did fall down on Jan 1 at a function and that there was lots of chatter between Arab nations leaders that same day.  So Saddam Hussein might never be found.

Re: Cherrie's post

Saddam will be found, If he is still alive.

Bin Laden is a different animal, and holds some value to the existing middle east interests. If Saddam is really alive he is a liability to whoever protects him.  I agree the CIA is not one of the West's better intelligence agencies, however considering that during their height of the cold war they only had around 30,000 employees and most of them were secretaries.   But very few foreign intelligence agencies have had their hands tied as much as the CIA in the past 30 years.  I do believe that a dramatic change is coming and has been in the last year or two...

Human Intel has always been their weakness.
