Bush & Osama:  Connection the dots

Bush Terrorism preparation correlated to Osama Videos?

by Sophia Barkat

Have you heard? A new Osama Video finds its way at al-Jazeera?

As some Comedian aptly put it, "Osama has more videos than Tupac Shakhur."

It's as though al-Jazeera has better intelligence than the CIA/Mossad/KGB/Interpol put together. But you're not some inane American hitting their head against the table, saying "Oh God. Not another Video!"

You're probably correct in thinking it's a phony video created by the BUSH Administration. Why would they do it? Because every time a video of Osama airs Bush simultaneously comes out with some outrageous demand for Congress to pass.

Recently, Bush announced he wants stricter Patriot Act laws, the stuff we have heard about before: http://story.news.yahoo.com/news?tmpl=story&cid=564&ncid=564&e=1&u=/nm/20030910

So, what's his gain?

Right now his popularity is down, both with the public, who are worried about the troops in Iraq, and with Congress, who has yet to see how he spent money on Iraq. The Bush Oil Mafia Junta are caught with their tails between their legs in Iraq and this is a last attempt to make peace with Congress...by getting them to vote in his favor. Naturally, Osama -- Bush's best friend - is back in action to save the day.

But that's just my skeptical hunch of the day.

re:  Sophia's post

I think most of us did hear and also watched Osama and his second in command ( Al Zawhari) prancing around in mountain.

It is good being skeptical but this theory raises multiple questions. I think Bush can become more popular by showing the dead body of Osama rather than showing Osama himself on some video.

More interesting news is that , Associated press reports says Al Jazeera had this video since late May!!! Question is why was it not shown immediately ?

- Did Pentagon pressurize Al Jazeera not to show it since they were deep into Iraq war?

- If Al Jazeera is holding back the video alll these days, why was it shown day before Sept-11?

- Whoever decided this schedule clearly knowws that this will make Osama appear more 'hero' like Arab world and in Muslim word? Who really controls Al Jazeera ?

re: Joe's post

Lately we are hearing from the Democrats running for office that Bush has no exit plan for Iraq. From the way he has used 911 to get into Iraq and get Halliburton contracts, and has no exit plan either, and showed complete negligence of Homeland Security or the US Economy, it would seem that he has no concern with apprehending Osama or for being re-elected.

He was just in office to further his Oil Mafia contracts. But you can't exactly say that in public, can you? So, he's faking the whole bit about wanting to win a second term.

In fact, he's even antagonized his own voters. Those who voted for him in 2000 Elections predominantly did not get tax-breaks, as they fell in the middle income group.

I don't know anyone who would be willing to risk his voters just to get some money back for the top 10% income group.

I also thought that he must be running for re-election when I saw the huge tax-cuts he'd given to campaign financiers. But then if you think about the fact that there are 2.5 million more jobless Americans today and that he has done nothing to help middle-class Americans who think the Republicans represent middle-class Americans.....I don't know, but it looks like axing your own foot.

Actually I think that Bin Laden is regressing in age with each new release. He looks great maybe even lost a few gray hairs. It's a wonder how being on the run has really improved his appearance!
